Strawberry Almond Cream Muffins

Bren and I have been enjoying cooking together. We made pancakes together yesterday and muffins today. These muffins were awesome!!! It’s a recipe that’s on the back of the package, modified slightly to make only 6 muffins.

Strawberry Almond Cream Muffins
slightly less than 1/2 c skim milk
1/4 cup light sour cream
1 T sugar (optional)
1/4 t almond extract
1 pkg Martha White strawberry muffin mix
1/3 cup almonds
Preheat oven to 400. Spray muffin tin with Pam.
Combine milk, sour cream, sugar and extract in a bowl. Add muffin mix and almonds and stir just until combined. Fill muffin tin with mixture.
Bake for about 20 minutes. Serve warm. Makes 6 muffins.
